1. What part of the world and country do you live in? I live in Paranaque
2. What is the furthest from home that you have been, and where is it? I’ve never been away from home. I guess Baguio is the farthest so far.
3. What travel destination have you enjoyed the most? Bohol. The community and the locals are so peaceful. It’s such a small town and I like how authentic everything is. Would you believe the men there still work as blacksmiths?
4. What travel destination have you enjoyed the least? I haven’t been to Vegas but I’m not really crazy about it. The husband likes to visit there in the future though. If we could stay on of those luxurious reno hotels, I might have a change of heart.
5. Is there somewhere you’d like to visit but have not, and where is it? Definitely Hawaii.
6. Do you prefer traveling to see historic places or to hit the beach and relax? Both. I’m the type who just goes ga-ga over an old church or a piece of art. But at the end of the day, I’d like to come home to a beach resort so I can spend the remaining afternoon watching the calm waters.
7. What popular vacation destination have you never considered because you think you’d not like it? Thailand. We have enough beautiful beaches here.
8. Where do you travel to most recently? Tagaytay
9. Do you like day trip “mini-vacations”? Yup, but with a toddler, it’s just not doable. Usually these day trips include walking or hiking the whole day.

My friend stumbled upon a site that sells cheap licensed software. He’s now planning of buying them in bulk so he can sell them here at a higher price yet still slightly lower than the ones advertised at the malls. He also found a low rate for big shipping boxes so he might buy and sell other stuff as well. I know a lot of people who’s into online shopping yet don’t have the means to ship it internationally. Now, with his help, people can buy gadgets, clothes, even small furniture from their favorite online stores. We’ll just have to do a test first on how much it will really cost him to ship items including custom rates, etc. I for one, would love to take advantage of his services. I can already see myself buying new laptop (maybe an iMac?), designer clothes (on sale of course!) and toys for my little girl.
My husband sent me an IM with a link to the Johnston and Murphy website. Our anniversary is in two months and he said he doesn’t need any gifts except for a nice laptop bag and new wallet. Well, so much for not asking gifts LOL. While we’re on the subject of gifts, I wonder what he’d say if I ask him to get my the Tiffany earrings that I’ve been dying to have for so long. I also would love to own a new phone (iPhone or HTC) or even two pairs of shoes. I’m very easy to please.
I just received my 4th birthday invitation this month. The invite came with a baby registry and one of the items on the list is a Stokke Tripp Trapp. I was like, what the H _ _ _? My internet was down that time so you can just imagine my frustration. When I need to know something, I can’t sit still until I find out what it is. As soon as my connection came back, I immediately searched for stokke tripp trapp in goggle. It’s a baby item alright, a high chair to be exact. However, it’s the type that grows with your child. Sounds freaky eh? What I mean is, it’s adjustable and can seat both children and adults. I believe it can even support up to 300 pounds.
Now that I know what it is, I’m definitely not buying it unless it’s for my daughter. One, it’s too expensive for a birthday gift and two; I can’t see anyone bringing something as big to a party. It’s a pretty great product though, something that you can pass down to your grand grand kids.

Every year, my company joins trade show exhibits to gain more leads. This is always the busiest time of the year for me because of all the planning, presentations, business card designs and banners for the trade show exhibit. As I check my designs last year, I realized how outdated they are. Our new application has been re-designed for web 2.0 so I need something more fun yet sophisticated, corporate but not boring.
Thanks to the Internet, I have unlimited supply of inspiration. A few visits to websites designing trade show exhibit banners just gave me an idea on what to do this time. Colorful banners are so out, minimalist is in. Well, for our software application, that is. I noticed that most banners use photos as backgrounds too, unlike before when the company logo and a couple of swirls and swooshes would be enough. I want to try that approach too but it wouldn’t fit our theme. Plus I need to make sure first how much our budget for the printing will be before I create any artworks.

Purchasing marketing data is one of the most proven marketing tools that really work. One of the main reasons why companies prefer to purchase opt-in lists is that they need it to be perfect. They can’t afford to waste time sending campaigns, hoping that one of the recipients will be interested. This is why mailing lists providers like The List Company makes sure that all their products are accurate and have a high rate of deliverability.
The List Company has one of the largest databases that contain over 14 million US businesses and 300 million US consumers. From telemarketing lists to specialty response list, you are guaranteed that the data you will purchase has been analyzed thoroughly to ensure the success of your campaign. For example, on their mortgage mailing list, they implement an exclusive enhanced mortgage profiling so your offers will be matched accurately to the most likely responders. They create data over proven statistics and based on multiple related fields. On consumers / telemarketing lists, they have files on behavior and purchasing patterns for most households. This type of data compiling guarantees that the list will contain the most detailed information available.
