WW - Wawa Dam, Philippines

The Wawa Dam flanked by limestone walls is a majestic site. The quiet river, the huge limestone rocks, the caves, and the tranquil scenery depict a mystical scene. It is like traveling back in time. The view of the magnificent gorge is awe-inspiring; no wonder a lot of people would love to have a try at rock climbing here.
Local legend has it that Bernardo Carpio, a figure in Philippine Mythology, was once lured into a trap here by the Spaniards. Employing the powers of a shaman, Bernardo Carpio, being a giant in one version, was trapped in between two rocks in the Wawa Dam site. As proof of which, it is said that his hands or feet have been imprinted on the rocks. Local lore also says that one of his teeth was found in one of the caves.
WW - Taal Volcano

The volcano has erupted violently several times, causing loss of life in the populated areas surrounding the lake, the current death toll standing at around 5,000 - 6,000. Because of its proximity to populated areas and eruptive history, the volcano has been designated a Decade Volcano worthy of close study to prevent future natural disasters. It was thought to be named as “a volcano inside a volcano” because many believed that the lake that circles the volcano was once a crater or mouth of a volcano.

Dreaming of McDreamy
Wow, the tag “List of men I’d want to sleep with” (originally titled as Hot Men by Aggie) seemed to be the most popular tag ever. I knew it! We all have our own list of fantasy men! I know my husband has his own list of women somewhere but I’m pretty sure he will never admit in order to protect me. If only he knew about mine! LOL.
Anyway, I’ve been visiting some of the entries and I can’t believe I’ve forgotten McDreamy!
McDreamy - Dr. Derek Shepherd - Patrick Dempsey
Just love his look. It’s his famous how-sad-we-just-can’t-be-together or sometimes i-just-don’t-know-what-I liked-about-Mer bwaahhaha. Everything about him is perfect - hair, eyes, smile. He’s not exactly sexy hawwt but more like a husband kind of hot, someone that you can get comfortable with.
Do I need to say more? It’s so unfair how perfect his hair is.
If you haven’t done this tag, do it now! It’s fun and applicable to men too(of course, you’d have to come up with a list of women)! It will definitely keep you alert (better than a couple of energy pills can) and wide awake as you try to remember all the hot people from your invisible list.
Photoshop Disasters
Here’s a fun and exciting way to train your eyes in spotting mistakes - Photoshop Disasters. This blog was brought to my attention by my husband, who loves finding these little mistakes online and offline. Consider this the Internet version of The Tonight Show’s “Headline” segment where writers and viewers send in any articles or photos that were mistyped or edited badly.
Photoshop Disasters, according to their blog, are all about posting clumsy manipulation, senseless comping, lazy cloning and thoughtless retouching.
Just take a look at these photos.
Now some of them will definitely go unnoticed but if you’re being paid huge bucks, which I’m sure you are if you’re designing for Apple or some high end luxury car, then you need to be extra careful when inverting, cropping and what-not.
