When a website says they write about unbiased reviews, is it really true? There’s this one that reviewed Phentermine and gave it a rank of 35 out of 200 diet pills reviewed. After declaring that, they will list the top 10 diet pills that they believe will give you your money’s worth. It makes you wonder if they have been paid to say it or not. Anyway, I don’t really go for diet pills unless a doctor recommended them to me personally. And that’s after a three-hour consultation, including tests. Plus I have this aversion to diet pills after receiving junk emails and comments about Phentermine no prescription, etc. for three whole months. I mean, you’re probably not very good if you have to spam people with your products right? But that’s just me. Most of them probably work but I highly suggest you do a thorough research before taking one. You wouldn’t want to be that person who achieved her dream weight, only to die because her liver took all the beating.
I came across a new web design blog today called Stylish Weblog. As a designer myself, I make it a habit to view other web designer sites and blogs because you always learn new things. The first thing that I noticed when I saw this design blog is the wordpress theme. It’s so stylish, very web 2.0 and unlike any other themes that I’ve seen. I scrolled down immediately to check the name of the theme but there wasn’t any info about it so I’m guess this is a customized one. The flickr photos on the right panel give the page the color that it needs, making the overall look and feel not only stylish but very professional. Of course, if you call your blog ‘Stylish’, then you absolutely have to walk the talk.
Atila, the author talks mainly about design, custom web design, web development, design technologies, etc. I enjoyed reading the design articles especially this one - Why do you need to redesign your Website? This article is what every website owner, client, web designer should read. Some of the clients that I’ve worked with ask me to re-design their sites but they are not willing to let go of the styles that they’ve accustomed to, ten years ago. Back then, optimizing your site for better search engine placement may not be as important so you can do what you want (or not do anything at all) but now, hundreds of web sites are being created daily so keeping up with the latest trend should be a top priority. Aside from design, you can also read about finance, health, Internet and technology from this Stylish Weblog.
I’m contemplating getting a medicare supplement. I’m very thankful for my husband’s health package but there are so many limitations especially when your condition is pre-existing. My husband’s pre-existing health issues are too many to mention so we can’t really take full advantage of the health plan. I’ve been nagging (yes, nagging!) my husband to have an executive check up too. He has been complaining a lot of back pains and headaches so if he has something that needs to be treated, better that we find out early. Things like these matter when you have a kid who depends on you.
Wow, the tag “List of men I’d want to sleep with” (originally titled as Hot Men by Aggie) seemed to be the most popular tag ever. I knew it! We all have our own list of fantasy men! I know my husband has his own list of women somewhere but I’m pretty sure he will never admit in order to protect me. If only he knew about mine! LOL.
Anyway, I’ve been visiting some of the entries and I can’t believe I’ve forgotten McDreamy!
McDreamy - Dr. Derek Shepherd - Patrick Dempsey
Just love his look. It’s his famous how-sad-we-just-can’t-be-together or sometimes i-just-don’t-know-what-I liked-about-Mer bwaahhaha. Everything about him is perfect - hair, eyes, smile. He’s not exactly sexy hawwt but more like a husband kind of hot, someone that you can get comfortable with.

Do I need to say more? It’s so unfair how perfect his hair is.
If you haven’t done this tag, do it now! It’s fun and applicable to men too(of course, you’d have to come up with a list of women)! It will definitely keep you alert (better than a couple of energy pills can) and wide awake as you try to remember all the hot people from your invisible list.
Remember the old times when engraving was done manually? The process was too time consuming and prone for mistakes. Now you can easily create detailed designs using laser engraving. According to wiki, laser is an electronic-optical device that emits coherent light radiation. Laser technology is being used on operations that demands utmost precision. The most common use of laser technology is for creating storage devices like compact discs and DVD players, bar code readers, laser printers. In medicine, lasers are used for internal surgery while in military; lasers are used for illumination and target identification. For product printing, laser technology is a fast and efficient way to transfer designs to any kind of materials. Whether it’s wood, plastic, fabric or glass, your intricate designs can be cut and engraved in detail. The laser cutting machines use laser beams to cut through intricate patterns. High precision and focus are the key features of this technology and since you don’t need any technician to perform the task, you will save labor costs. Laser technology is big business and with the advancement of technology, I’m pretty sure we can do so much more in a couple of years. There’s the fact that laborers are being replaced with robots / lasers of course, but that’s another different story.
I keep learning something new everyday. And today is all about medical alerts IDs. For those who have hidden medical conditions such as diabetes, heart problems, allergies; getting a medical id should be considered. During an emergency, it can help people identify what was wrong with you especially if you’re having trouble speaking. Also, if you lose consciousness, the hospital staff admitting you will immediately find the right treatment without any problems or medical errors. This is similar to a kid who wears a name tag that says “I’m allergic to peanuts” so his teachers and other people will double check if the food that they’re about to offer has peanuts. This tool has been saving lives by preventing misdiagnosis and through quick medication treatment because you already know what’s wrong.
I remember promising my unborn daughter that we’ll visit Disneyland if she will just come out that week. She decided to come out that exact night so I guess I owe her. It has been almost three years now and we’re still not close to seeing any Disney characters soon. I’ve been reading mixed reviews on Hongkong Disney so I want to wait another year when my little girl is easier to manage. By that time, I’m sure she’ll appreciate the attractions and rides much better. By the way, I saw this image from this Orlando vacations site and just had to ask. Is the kid on the far right girl or what? Looks like an entry for Photoshop Disasters to me.

I’m trying to find a local shop that sells the same equipments being used in Gymboree and Little Gym. I heard it’s being sold in Ikea but since there’s no way I can get Ikea items here, I’ve decided to just search the malls. I’m particularly interested with the colorful tunnel like where the toddlers and babies can crawl in. I was able to find one but was confused about the size so I asked the saleslady about it. Turned out it’s not for toddlers but for cats. I think something similar is being sold from this site who’s famous for pet beds too. It’s called cat crackle tunnel but so much smaller than the one that I saw at the mall.
I guess I have to find an Ikea reseller online so they can just ship the thing International.
A colleague received two Santa Fe dehumidifiers as wedding gifts. Since he doesn’t really need two, and the fact that it was his wide who really wanted one, he decided to sell it in eBay. He made a quick $600 because a brand new unit can go as high as $995. This made me think that you can really earn a lot through eBay. I suddenly remembered Jay Leno asking his viewers to guess how much a couple of weird looking items were sold in eBay. Some of them were sold at $7500 and it doesn’t even do anything except make your house look creepy. I’m planning to sell tons of baby items and old books myself. I doubt if I’ll earn that much because none of them were really expensive nor a collectible.
Let me share with you my latest blog find. Mostly Lisa. This is her in a nutshell - blogger, vlogger, photographer, media producer, actress, model, and geek. She’s a true geek, only hotter! I wish I can post my photos working on my laptop wearing a two-piece suit too but that would be me, five years too late. I also love her “advertise on my back end” idea while talking about ways on how to monetize her blog.

Anyway. The reason why I’m so ecstatic about mentioning her is the fact that she’s the second blogger/website owner that I’ve read of who got a Macbook for free. The other girl (who was equally gorgeous) whose name escapes me right now, made these special artworks that you can stick on laptops and she got a Macbook Pro in return. At least she did something. Lisa on the other hand only have to mention on her blog how she wants to have a Macbook Air and what do you know, someone actually sent her one! Just like that. It helped that she’s really hot of course. She probably never needed any acne treatment her whole life. But who knows what the intentions were behind the sender of the MB Air? I’d do almost anything on my blog just to get one too.
